The goal of Business Intelligence is to help determine and direct better, educated decisions.
Most business operations fit the mold of an OODA model:
- Observe: Roll up your business data and review where you stand.
- Orient: Establish goals or Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Whether you want to increase sales, performance, or decrease overhead you need to set reasonable goals to track your progress.
- Decide: Consider plans of action given where you stand and where you want to be. Establish milestone phases, key dates, and operational costs of each plan.
- Act: Implement the plan that was carefully designed using your BI information.

Do not let the limitations of a computer system hinder effective decision making. Static or "canned" reports
often do not have all of your business considerations built in to allow accurate reporting of the information
you need to make decisions. When implementing a new business practice or software solution the plan will invariably
be subject to slight change and must be provisioned for. We can assist you at any stage in this process with
consulting or custom software to help you establish proven methods for growth.
If you need to report on data warehoused in a legacy system we can assist you in upgrading your business technologies with data conversions to enterprise systems.
